My debate with my Doggy-Boyfriend...

Tonight, my boyfriend, Shooter & I had a political debate...

It did not go very well.

I found out that we are supporting different political candidates in the upcoming election for very different reasons.

1) I do not support the idea of a large government that plans on large government spending of greater tax dollars.

Shooter believes that everyone should be taxed even more in order to spread the wealth more fairly. He likes the idea of "Big Government" control & believes that the government can solve all of our problems.

2) I do not think that the government should enforce each of us to subscribe to the same health care system. I disagree with this b/c I do not want lose my healthcare benefits provided in my puppy health insurance. My health care plan is a well-selected plan that I have chosen. I am able to purchase my subscriptions to heartguard and frontline for excellent costs.

On the otherhand, Shooter doesn't mind if the government reprimand which health care provider he must be covered under. Although he is tobacco smoker & his health is more at risks b/c of his own personal decisions, he doesn't mind if he does not have a choice of which health care provider will sponsor his health.

3) Shooter is not bothered that Senator O'Bama has several terrorist friends.

Hello? You want the next future president of the USA to invite terrorists to dine at evening dinners @ the White House??

4) ACORN...Shooter does not even understand what Acorn is...this organization has completely falsified thousands of voter registration cards. I mentioned this to Shooter & he seemed to not be bothered that Mickey Mouse was registered to vote in the state of FLORIDA 8x!

Hello?? His paws need to be identified...

5) Shooter does not mind TAXES....although Shooter & I are not ultimately affected by the tax-increase plan that Senator O'Bama would like to put into effect, b/c neither one of us earns a living...however...what if Senator O'Bama plans to increase other taxes that would affect us...

Sales Tax for Ex...what if Senator O'Bama increases Sales Tax? Then, the price of my gourmet Peanut Butter doggy bones & puppy food would increase!? I don't want to pay more?! Who would want to increase our sales tax? Obviously Shooter wouldn't mind.

At the end of our debate, Shooter marched over to my yard, lifted his leg, & urinated of my McCain/Palin yard sign.

That was the end of our relationship. I refuse to date someone with out manners, courtesy, and such contrasting political beliefs from my own:(

Maybe someday I will find my own Prince Charming...I should probably date my own Yorkie breed anyway...b/c Yorki-Shi Zu puppies would be quite unattractive.
